Do you know the meaning of "aloha?" When you're in Hawaii, that's the greeting you hear throughout your stay. More than a simple "hello," it represents all of the following: love, affection, compassion, mercy, sympathy, kindness, grace, and charity—such a beautiful sentiment to be sharing on a regular basis with others. How to win: Chose one of your photos that to you best says "aloha," and upload the digital file at www.facebook.com/StarwoodHawaii by September 30, 2010, with a photo caption, a brief description of why the image represents aloha to you, the location of photo, and an approximate date that the photo was taken. A panel of judges will select twenty finalists whose photos will be posted on www.facebook.com/StarwoodHawaii on October 6, 2010, for public viewing. Visitors to the site will have the opportunity to vote and select the “Fan Favorites,” as well as help the judges select the grand prize winner.
