The Native American-themed spa is a collaborative effort between Garance Primat, one of the owners of Primland, and spa consultant Sylvie Keo. It draws inspiration from the land, which was inhabited by numerous tribes throughout history such as the Cherokee, Iroquois, Monacan, Sapony, and Saura tribes. Native American healing techniques are combined with European state-of-the-art technology in all the treatments. And according to Keo, the spa boasts the only Spa Horizon pool in the U.S.

Other Primland highlights include:

* The Highland Course 18-hole golf course designed by renowned gold architect Donald Steel

* The Observatory equipped with a Celestron CGE Pro 1400 telescope

* The Lodge featuring 26 suites—all with picturesque views
