In a setting of pristine natural beauty in the Blue Ridge Mountains, Primland offers discerning guests a peaceful haven of leisure, rejuvenation and recreational activities on its 12,000 acres in southern Virginia. 

The Lodge and Cottages at Primland provide 32 exceptional guest accommodations and out of the ordinary amenities and 11 Mountain Homes provide rustic comforts in stunning settings, each with an added measure of seclusion.

It is through the intimacy of the Spa at Primland that our guests experience a return to authentic values--values inspired by the wisdom of native healing techniques and nature itself. 

Our treatments are a rejuvenating experience for body, mind and spirit.  Indigenous materials used in the Spa’s construction bring the outdoors inside and even the Spa’s ambient music is evocative of nature, the elements and native rhythms.

The Spa was meticulously designed for guest comfort.  A salon, five treatment rooms each with shower, a room purely for relaxation with distant views, a chlorine-free infinity pool, hydrospa and sun terrace combine to awaken the senses. 

Unique to Primland, the Unity Suite provides a relaxing interlude for couples (or mother and daughter) with Jacuzzi, chromotherapy, large shower for two and twin massage tables. 

The enveloping soft-pack dry float system provides for free floating passive immersion designed to soothe the psyche; and Clairazur Spa Horizon, the first Jacuzzi of this type to be introduced in this country, with an overflow system, is provided in the women’s changing room.
