Recently I was fortunate enough to escape to Carmel Valley for a Lavender Harvest Celebration Lunch at Bernardus Lodge. In addition to enjoying an amazing feast that was hosted by the hotel’s renowned Marinus restaurant and that featured the handiwork of its eponymous winery, I had the opportunity to learn all about lavender and make my own body oil with the help of the husband-and-wife team behind Ajne Organic Perfumery.
