Guests who seek a genuinely unique and memorable experience will find it at the renowned Spa Ojai. Discover your creative side at the new Artist's Cottage and Apothecary, where guests learn from local artists to work in a variety of media, from painting to wreath making and fiber arts. The first of its kind anywhere, the Apothecary is a special workplace for blending fresh herbs and essential oils into personalized potions and lotions that guests can take home.

The Kuyam is Spa Ojai's signature mud treatment and the only one of this type in the United States. The Kuyam combines the therapeutic effects of cleansing mud, dry heat, inhalation therapy, and guided meditation in a communal experience. Spa Ojai's 28 treatment areas include a fireplace suite for couple's massages. Facials may be customized for each guest, and each season a body scrub incorporates fresh regional produce such as tangerines or pumpkins. The Café at the Spa offers light Mediterranean fare, inside with views of the open kitchen, or al fresco next to the fountain in the Spa Courtyard.

The resort's Southern California climate makes it ideal for outdoor activities. Guests may swim in a choice of three heated pools, including one with private cabanas. The resort is also known for championship golf, tennis, horseback riding, and fresh, innovative cuisine.
