Visit the Dead Sea Panoramic Complex. The Jordanian Royal Society for the Conservation of Nature has set up seven reserves, including the Dead Sea Panoramic Complex, which houses a museum and a restaurant with breathtaking views. Profits go to Dead Sea preservation efforts.

Support the Jordan River Rehabilitation Project. Friends of the Earth Middle East, an environmental nongovernmental organization, is currently drumming up support (both financial and political) for its project to help restore the Jordan River—one of the primary rivers that feed the Dead Sea.

Buy beauty products that help protect the Dead Sea. One With Nature — which produces high-quality soaps, lotions, and body washes that feature Dead Sea salts and mud—is donating 2 percent of its profits to conservation efforts.
